Bowron Lake

The Bowron Lake Canoe Circuit is a wilderness area. Anyone planning to paddle the circuit should come well prepared and with some canoeing experience. Please visit BC Parks for more information about canoeing in Bowron Lake Park, including current conditions before making a reservation.

Bowron Lake Park offers two canoe trip options:

  • a circuit of all ten lakes (usually 6 to 10 days)
  • a tour of the lakes on the park's west side (usually 1 to 3 days)

You will be able to indicate which trip you intend to take later in the reservation process.

Special rules apply to Groups (defined as 7-14 people). Groups must follow a fixed itinerary of 8 days/7 nights for the entire circuit or 4 days/3 nights for the West Side. Only one Group is allowed to start a trip each day.

The number of departures is limited each day to protect visitors’ experiences and impacts on the park. All park visitors must attend a mandatory orientation session before their trip. The availability for these sessions is shown below.

Accessible/barrier free campsites are designed for campers with accessibility needs. An accessible parking permit is required to determine eligibility for these campsites and will be validated during the check-in process at the park.

By continuing, the nightly sites you have selected below will be dropped to allow you to select a single site for your requested stay.

You are choosing to complete a reservation outside of the group hold. Your reservation will not be associated with other reservations in the group hold. Are you sure you wish to continue completing a reservation separate from the group hold?
